2K Games continue le carnage avec “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx”, le plus gros contenu téléchargeable pour Borderlands
Paris, le 23 février 2010 – 2K Games annonce aujourd’hui la disponibilité de The Secret Armory of General Knoxx*, troisième et explosif DLC (contenu supplémentaire téléchargeable) pour Borderlands. Il sera disponible dès aujourd’hui au téléchargement pour 800 Microsoft Points sur le Xbox LIVE Marketplace pour Xbox 360. Il sera également disponible dès le 25 février sur le PlayStation Network (pour PlayStation3) et depuis store.gearboxsoftware.com, Steam and Direct2Drive (pour PC) pour 7,99€. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx a été développé par Gearbox Software et propose une suite directe à l’histoire de base de Borderlands, offrant aux joueurs une raison supplémentaire de considérer le titre comme l’un des tous meilleurs RPS (Role-Playing Shooter : mélange de jeu de rôle et de tir à la première personne).
The Secret Armory of General Knoxx commence juste après la fin de Borderlands - les joueurs ont découvert et débloqué la fameuse Arche extra-terrestre, mais doivent désormais affronter « Atlas Corporation », sa soif de vengeance et son arme la plus mortelle, le Général Knoxx. Avec plus de 16 millions d’armes (et l’aide d’un informateur au sein d’ « Atlas Corporation »), nos chasseurs de prime devront protéger Pandore en détruisant tout un arsenal de munition et en envoyant le Général Knoxx ad patres. Mais avant, ils pourront piller et récolter les récompenses de cette réserve d’armes.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx est une expérience solo ou en co-op avec un gameplay plus évolué et des caractéristiques améliorées pour les joueurs de Borderlands. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx passe le niveau maximum de 50 à 61, propose de nouveaux véhicules pour du hors-piste jusqu’à 4 joueurs, des missions explosives qui débloquent des zones de combat jamais explorées, un degré de difficulté plus élevé, des ennemis encore plus acharnés à séparer votre tête du reste de votre corps, et bien sûr, de nombreuses armes incroyables supplémentaires.
