Digital Chocolate Launches Fantasy Warrior Legends, its First Free-To-Play Title for iPhone and iPod Touch with OpenFeint's Social Platform
OpenFeint, the leading social network platform solution for over 1000 iPhone and iPod Touch games, today announced a partnership with leading game developer Digital Chocolate to help make the company’s first freemium title, Fantasy Warrior Legends, a truly social experience. The game is now available for free on iPhone and iPod touch.
Using OpenFeint’s social platform, Digital Chocolate will enable Fantasy Warrior Legends’ players to post scores on leaderboards, track their progress, and more. OpenFeint will also offer Fantasy Warrior Legends’ players the ability to join in on live forums and chat with other OpenFeint players to share tips and tricks about the game. Fantasy Warrior Legends will contain an in-game store allowing users to purchase items to further enhance the gaming experience.

Fantasy Warrior Legends is the fourth Digital Chocolate title that has launched with OpenFeint and follows on the heels of the wildly popular Rollercoaster Rush franchise. OpenFeint’s social tools have logged 3.5 million high scores and unlocked 1 million achievements, making the game more addictive and social. All previous titles were paid games.
In Fantasy Warrior Legends, players can play as Rento and continue a journey to confront and destroy the evil Demon Lord. Created specifically to take full advantage of the iPhone and iPod touch, players will be able to use the Multi-touch feature to navigate and fight monsters by touching or tapping the on screen controls.
OpenFeint will be featuring Fantasy Warrior Legends in the exclusive Free Game of the Day spotlight on Sunday, April 11th, 2010. During this promotion, users will be able to download 400 in-game gems for free to enhance the action-adventure gameplay. Players will be able to view this promotion inside the OpenFeint app and on FreeGameoftheDay.com.
