SEGA of Europe Ltd. et SEGA of America, Inc., en partenariat avec Double Fine Productions, annoncent aujourd’hui la sortie de The Cave, le jeu d’aventure créé par le légendaire Ron Gilbert. Engagez-vous dans les tréfonds de The Cave dès maintenant en téléchargeant le jeu pour votre iPhone, iPad ou iPod touch sur l’App Store au prix de 4,49€.
Elu meilleur jeu d’aventure lors de l’E3 2012 par le magazine américain Game Informer, The Cave est une création originale du maestro incontesté du genre, Ron Gilbert. Le Game Designer est célèbre notamment pour ses œuvres comme Monkey Island ou Maniac Mansion. A l’origine de sa conception, le studio Double Fine, multi-primé et connu pour Psychonauts ou Brütal Legend. The Cave revient aujourd’hui dans une version tactile pour une expérience unique sur iOS.
Le principe du jeu est simple : les joueurs pourront composer une équipe de trois aventuriers à choisir parmi sept personnages disponibles. Ils possèdent chacun leur propre personnalité, secrets et histoire. Saurez-vous les accompagner dans les confins d’une mystérieuse caverne…?
«La sortie du jeu The Cave sur des appareils tactiles a toujours été le postulat de départ. Nous avons travaillé d’arrache-pied pour que la prise en main soit aussi intuitive que possible. » explique Ron Gilbert. «Nous avons également réussi à conserver la même qualité graphique que sur la version console afin que les joueurs puissent pleinement s’immerger dans la version portable de notre aventure souterraine. »
